Cent Account

Definition
Account where balance is displayed in cents.

Welcome to STB Provider's Forex/CFD trading platform. Here, we offer various account types to cater to diverse trading needs, including the Cent Account. This account type is designed for beginners or traders who prefer to manage their risk with smaller capital. In a Cent Account, the balance is displayed in cents, making it easier to track and manage your trading activities with precision.

How It Works

The Cent Account operates on a micro-lot system, where one micro-lot is equivalent to 1,000 units of the base currency. This means that a trade size of 1000 in a Cent Account is equivalent to 1 standard lot in a typical Forex account. The balance in a Cent Account is displayed in cents, with 100 cents being equivalent to 1 unit of the base currency. For instance, a balance of 10000 cents is equivalent to 100 units of the base currency.

Why It Matters

The Cent Account matters for several reasons:

  • Risk Management: With a Cent Account, you can practice proper risk management by trading with smaller capital. This allows you to test your strategies and gain experience without risking large amounts of money.
  • Accessibility: The Cent Account makes trading accessible to a wider range of traders, including those who may not have substantial capital to start with. It provides an opportunity for everyone to participate in the Forex/CFD market.
  • Precision: The cent-based display allows for more precise tracking of your balance and trade sizes. This can help you make more informed decisions about your trading activities.
